Andy provides strategy, business planning and funding advice for organisations, projects and sectors. Andy has 20 years experience in providing research based technical advice on business, finance and sectoral development issues to clients from the public and private sectors to inform project implementation and policy development. Andy specialises in:
- Sectoral development issues (automotive) and national economic policy development.
- Securing European and other competitive funding to finance infrastructure including river crossings and light rail systems, business growth programmes for SMEs and skills centres (ERDF, ESF, Capital Funds, INTERREG, IPO).
- Socio-economic impacts and business benefits of major planning applications including drafting of Statements of Case for light rail, infrastructure, residential developments, training centres and mixed use projects.
- Project appraisal and feasibility assessments.Developing urban and regional economic and planning policy.
Andy has worked with a wide range of clients including CLG, the Northern Way, Regional Development Agencies, Local Authorities, the British Library, Chambers of Commerce, Business Links, Banks, Trade Associations (SMMT, EEF) and private sector clients. Andy is currently working with Transport for London, Northamptonshire LEP and the SMMT. Andy is a Member of the RTPI, TCPA and NIPA.
